Hi,

We started out with a 'Blue Sky' morning, but that didn't last long. Light rain in the afternoon, more this evening. The car got serviced, the water pressure increased, Lisa is once again painting on canvas, and Daku found a new toy.

Although this song was officially released in '66, it wasn't until the 'Summer of Love' that it was embraced.
"Well, I feel so good, everybody's getting higher. Better take it easy, 'cause the place is on fire. Been a hard day, nothing went too good, now I'm gonna relax, honey, everybody should. So glad we made it, so glad we made it. You got to __ __ __, __ __ __, __ __ __ every day." Clue: The group is named for it's leader, but the song was sung by someone else. Three words that could be a plea or a command. It's up to the listener I suppose.

This morning I went over to the Toyota dealer to get an appointment for service. Doing it on the phone is a comedy of errors. On the way, at the Train Library, there was a major event going on, with lots of school kids and monks. When I got to the dealership they told me they could do it right away, and be done in two hours. It was 9:30 so I decided to walk down the highway to Central Plaza. When I got there I remembered that it didn't open until 10am. I did find the Starbucks open so I got some coffee and did some reading on my iPad. The department store opens at 10 but the rest of the mall doesn't open until 11. I went back to Toyota, to their wonderful waiting room. The car was done early, washed and ready. I really enjoy going there since the service is very efficient and the staff is very polite.

Even though there are men working in the street across the bridge from our house, doing something with pipes, our water pressure has gotten better. That's not to say the it won't just go away. I continue to have hope.

Today Lisa began a painting on canvas. This is a departure from the cast acrylic print medium that she's been doing. The piece is evolving into a beautiful still life. She's enjoying the challenge of returning to 'brush and canvas'.

This afternoon Boot was out in the yard with the dogs. We went out to check the temperature of the pool and BamBam came over, but we didn't see Daku. He was lying in one of the plant beds. When Lisa approached him, he got up and did his little teasing romp to another part of the yard. There was something in his mouth. On closer inspection Boot told us it was a baby coconut that had dropped from one of the trees. What a boy.

Tomorrow night we're going to an exhibit opening at 9 Art Gallery. They're having it on Friday since this weekend there will be no alcohol sales because of the election on Sunday. The government has also put a ban on any campaigning using 'Social Media' like Facebook and Twitter. Hmm. There has also been some strong criticism of posters that depict certain candidates with the heads of wild animals. This weekend should be very interesting.

Have a Thrilling Thursday.

Peace,
Danny
