Thought

Hi,

Today in Chiang Rai the weather was hot and humid. We had no rain, which was a surprise. Our day was a simple one, with a little shopping trip in the morning and a nap and swim in the afternoon.

Our 'Easy Monday' song was "Addicted To Love" by the late Robert Palmer. Look up the video on Youtube. Time once again to visit the 'Summer Of Love'. We've been to the album this next song is from already. It was a monumental release that year, and it provided many memories. This one should be really easy. The title is in two words.
"Standing by a parking meter, when I caught a glimpse of __. Filling in the ticket in her little white book. In a cap she looked much older, and the bag across her shoulder, made her look a little like a military man. __ __... When are you free to take some tea with me?" Hint: The subject of this song is slowly being replaced by the digital print-out. Is this the price of progress? Seriously, you should know this.

This morning, after the dog adventures, the screen guy returned with his crew of trainees. The big sliding screen door in our bedroom just fell out of it's tracks last Friday. We missed that screen since the window is a big source of air when the temps are cool enough. They replaced a wheel, did some major adjustments and it's better than it's ever been.

We drove up to Makro after the screen guys left. They have frozen spinach that's very good, plus a few other things that we can't find in town. There are also lots of things that catch my eye, but I have no idea what they are. Have you ever had chocolate flavored corn chips? You get the idea. On our return from Makro we enjoyed a ride through the 'country' checking out the sugar fields, the corn, and fields of beautiful weeds. The road we live on has one section that is almost a canopy the way the trees grow over it. All this rain has it's benefits.

After lunch we hung out and then napped. Daku tried to get us up early but Lisa got him back to sleep. An hour later I took him downstairs for his roll in the grass, his ice-cube, and part two of his nap. After coffee, Lisa and I went into the pool. We haven't been able to swim for many days so it was great to get back in the water.

It's time for Wacky Wednesday.

Peace,
Danny
