Win

Hi,

A day without rain is what happened today.  It was hot and humid again, but that was expected.  If it doesn’t rain tonight, the pool will be just right tomorrow.

Bravo to the two readers who knew this tune.  I’m not surprised that more of you didn’t know it, but you should.  I forgot to give this little adventure a name.  For now we’ll call it ‘Jazzy Wednesday’.  Here’s more of the song:
“Who’s that in my chair?  And what’s she doin’ there?  And oh Daddy, oh hey Daddy can I go over there?  Hey Daddy, what’s a square, and where do we get air and can I have dat big elephant over there?”  Clue:  There are no  clues.

This morning we had a coffee date with our friend John.  Before going over to The Wanderer, we took JaiDee for his morning walk.  As we were leaving the area, I spotted something in the hedge next to the van.  Someone must have found the little toy and placed it there to be found by it’s owner.

At The Wanderer, we were the only guests there and it was nice.  We talked and laughed and shared stories of recent experiences and stuff.  We always learn something when we hang out with John.  It could also be said that we get very silly when we hang out with John.  Everybody needs some silly in their day (555).

It’s that time of year when we have to do a check-in with the Immigration Department.  Because of covid, we’re doing it by mail again this time.  We drove up to the drive-thru window at the post office in Ban Du, and took care of business.  It’s a relief to get those kinds of things done.  Before, it was easier to go to the office, say hello to the nice officer while he stamped and stapled and then leave.  Ah well, nice to be here.

Have a Thrilling Thursday.   These days it’s more important to listen to health officials than politicians.  Be Safe!

                      Peace,
                                Danny
