Friday Funnies

Hi,

The weather high today was 96° with over 50% humidity.  It’s supposed to be the same for tomorrow.

The ‘Jazzy Wednesday’ tune was “Save Your Love For Me” by Nancy Wilson and the Cannonball Adderly Quintet.  Here is the recording:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnEl-36TL4A  My cousin Trudye and I had a chance to see them live at The Shrine Auditorium, a sweet memory.  And now, on to ‘Old School Friday’, and something really old (555).  “You don’t remember me, but I remember you.  ’Twas not so long ago, you broke my heart in two.  __ __ __ __, pain in my heart caused by you.”  Hint:  This time the singer really was little.  The title is what happens when you cry in bed.

This morning we did the usual things around the house, and then went to The Wanderer.  It was a quick trip for JaiDee since we had to drop him off at home and go to Makro.  I think he wanted to do more in the street, but they’re just not ready for him (555).  It’s comforting to know that the larger stores are still being vigilant about their safety protocols.  Not only that, everyone in the store is wearing a mask.  There are folks who don’t understand that you have to cover your nose as well as your mouth, but most get it.

JaiDee and TongDee are still not on the same page.  He wants to be friends and play, she wants to growl.  Even though that’s her thing, she comes around when we’re hanging out on the front porch.  It’s like she wants to be around us, as long as the overly happy dog stays cool.  After a week and a day, she has changed a lot.  Maybe next week she’ll change some more.  Feeling anxious in The Big Brown House.

Tomorrow begins a four day weekend for Thailand.  I’m guessing many places will remain open to take advantage of the ‘make-up’ business that was lost during the lockdown.  Most of the schools just recently opened, which makes me wonder how it will be next Wednesday when students have to return and sit still in their seats.  Hmm.

Today’s photo was taken while we were just cooling it on the front porch.  That’s a piece of a rawhide bone hanging out of Mr. Cool’s mouth.

Have a Wonderful WeekEnd.         Time for the ‘Funnies’.

                              Peace,
                                        Danny
