Hi,
Chiang Rai had some great ‘after the rain’ weather today. It didn’t get too hot, just hot enough, and it was dry all day.
The ‘Easy Monday’ song has many friends. Here’s a little more from an artist who became part of a very successful trio and then quartet. “Don’t be angry, don’t be sad, don’t sit cryin’ over good times you had. There’s a girl right next to you and she’s just waiting for something to do. Well there’ a rose in a fisted glove, and the eagle flies with the dove. And if you can’t be with the one you love, __ __ __ __ __.” Clue: I suppose it could be titled: ‘Take advantage of the current situation’. Still poses an ethical dilemma. Hmm.
This turned out to be a Big C day. JaiDee was not pleased with this arrangement. He knows the schedule and when he realized he wasn’t going with us this morning, there was a bit of bad behavior. He got over it and Natcha took him and TongDee out and ran them around the yard.
I forgot to tell you about our walk last night. It was raining. It was very light, but it was water falling from the sky just the same. We took small umbrellas and stayed dry. There were only two other people walking, a couple of tattooed young guys with their shirts off, enjoying the weather, talking and laughing. The whole scene was interesting, seeing this big piece of land that is usually bustling with activity, empty. Tonight was the total opposite, busy all the way around.
After our Big C shopping it was necessary to go to Top’s Market, which just happens to be in the Central Plaza Mall. Any other day and this would have been a routine stop. Today was the celebration of The King’s birthday and the joint was jumping. We went to Starbuck’s first, just to keep our usual morning ‘thing’ going. Then we did our shopping. Walking through the mall on days like this are always fun for me because I like to see the cross-section of life that seems to show up on holidays. Masks were in place and that alone was something to check out. There are so many variations on the theme.
While we were out shopping, Natcha took some adorable photos of Nitchanan and JaiDee. They have become very close lately and it’s really nice to see. I’ll post more later.
Have a Happy Tuesday.
Peace,
Danny
