Deception

Hi,

The day began as usual, and by mid-afternoon big, dark clouds began closing in on us.  Just as we went out in our swim suits, it began to rain.  It was light and short, but one never knows how hard or how long rain will last.  No swim today.

The ‘Jazzy Wednesday’ tune appears to be unknown to most of you.  That’s alright, I think you’ll like it when you hear it.  “Run away, if I were wise I’d run away, but like a fool I stay and pray you’ll __ __ __ __ __.”  Clue: What are piggy banks used for?  It’s a stretch, but it’s all I got (555).

The World Health Organization is making a documentary film about Thailand and New Zealand as successful models for handling and curbing Covid-19.  There are some who believe that the story is not finished.  If large numbers of travelers and workers from other countries are allowed to enter Thailand without safeguards, the so-called Second Wave might arrive with them.

JaiDee has suddenly reach a new level in his understanding of a few things.  When someone approaches him, he sits and waits to be petted, as opposed to rushing up and jumping on them.  This makes him more fun to take out.  The reality is, he stores up that crazy energy and unleashes it on us.  He has so much energy.  This morning, while we were getting ready, Natcha took both dogs and exercised them.  She got TongDee running and sent her off around the house, and ran JaiDee on a leash in the front yard.  I wish I could have seen that.

Today’s photo was taken this evening on our walk at the government building.  Lisa and JaiDee in a moment with no traffic.

There are people on our walks that know JaiDee from walking with others who know him.  We’ll pass someone who says, ‘Hi JaiDee’ and we don’t now them, but they know him.  There are a few that he recognizes and veers over to the other lane so they can pet his head as they pass.  I guess we are his entourage.

Have a Thrilling Thursday.

                      Peace,
                                Danny
