Individual

Hi,

The weather today was a cloudy 91°F with a 15 minute shower in the early afternoon.  Tomorrow’s forecast is for 93° and more ‘rain’.  Oh boy.

The ‘Jazzy Wednesday’ song got a little action.  This tune is from the early 80’s and was on the radio a lot.  It's got to be in a few more memory banks.  “It’s like a rainy night and candlelight.  And ooh, it’s so romantic.  We got the whole thing working out so right, and it’s just the way we planned it.  __ __ __ __ __, we got the kind that lasts forever….”  Clue: This singer has taken us from morning to moonlight.

This morning we took JaiDee to his first location for morning walks.  The one with all the trees and ‘stuff’ on the ground, the place with the good smells.  It wasn’t so much for the smells, for us it was the shade and the cooler temperature in the air and on the pavement.  It was great walk and then we went to Singhakla Coffee and Art Gallery.  We had some errands to run and he doesn’t have a following at this quiet little place.  He was a little surprised that it was such a short morning.

Today’s photo was taken on our morning walk.  The big building under construction will be the home of the Provincial
Department of Agriculture.  Chiang Rai’s primary ‘industry’ is agriculture.

The main errand was to Teppawan Stationary and Art Supply for canvases.  We also wanted to see our dear friend Supalak.  It was a brief but meaningful visit.  We hadn’t seen the family since the lockdown first happened.

Life at The Big Brown House is evolving.  Both dogs are now taken out to the front lawn for exercise together.  JaiDee approaches TongDee with a playful stance, she snarls and chases him and they run around a bit.  He is faster, so she gives up and lies down.  He keeps repeating this pattern and they both end up getting a good run.

Tomorrow the power in our area will be off from 8:30am to 1:30pm.  This means that we will be spending that time away from the house, in cooler surroundings.  Our plan is to go to The Wanderer when they open at 9am and spend the morning in the cool of the woods.  Then drive the brief, five minute drive to Chivit Tamma Da for lunch with a breeze off the river.  If there’s no breeze, they do have a room with air/con.  It should work out to be a wonderful adventure for the three of us, yes, JaiDee will be getting the long morning.  TongDee doesn’t seem to mind the heat.  Today, Lisa spotted her lounging on the hot driveway in direct sun.  No doubt tanning her fur.

Have a Thrilling Thursday.

                   Peace,
                             Danny
