Tolerance

Hi,

More of the hot and humid weather was on hand today.  Late afternoon we had a little rain that ended in time for us to walk JaiDee.

The ‘Easy Monday’ song is still easy.  Congrats to those who remembered this great song.  Maybe this will help:
“You must have known that I was lonely, because you came to my rescue.  And I know that this must be heaven, how could so much love be inside of you?  __ __ __ __ __ __ __, yeah, that’s why I’ll always be around.  You are the apple of my eye, forever you’ll stay in my heart.”  Clue: He started off as ‘Little’, and then grew up.  It’s a wonder you don’t know this.

This morning, at Chivit Thamma Da, JaiDee got to see his ‘almost friend’ Nam Kok.  Kok was ready to visit, but JaiDee still has his puppy impulses and wanted to jump on Kok for some aggressive play, but Kok wasn’t having it.  It’s good for JaiDee when this happens, it helps him learn how to be a dog (555) and play with others.

Thailand is included in a list of 14 countries that have literally flattened the curve on the corona virus.  The only new cases are Thai citizens who are returning from other countries where they contracted the illness.  Many people are hoping that this does not lead to an overconfidence when it’s time to open the borders.  So far there is great caution being exercised.

We finally made contact with the right person at our internet service provider for a ‘WiFi Extender’.  A guy came and tested a unit to make sure it would reach Natcha and Gong's apartment and also all of downstairs.  It’s been weeks since we learned that this is what we needed, and now it will be done.

This afternoon was the followup visit with Dr. Supaluk, Lisa’s doctor.  Medicines were discussed and adjusted and we’ll see her again in a week.  We like the fact that she spends time talking about what’s happening and expresses her concerns.  There is a secure feeling when you get the sense that the doctor cares.  After the appointment we went and had a visit with Dr. Intorn.  He told us the latest on the road to Chiang Mai.  It’s going to be two lanes each way, but it won’t be finished for 5 years.  Ouch!  He drives it almost every weekend since he lives in Chiang Mai.

It’s hard to believe that this little guy will be 1 year old next Tuesday.  This was taken the day he came into our lives at 8 weeks old.

There were supposed to be 2 play-dates this week but they had to cancel.  Next week will be the play week.

Have a Happy Tuesday.

                       Peace,
                                 Danny
