Basing the weather on what clothing is required tells me that it’s getting warmer. Forget the numbers. Today was very pleasant. Not too hot, not cold. Short sleeves and short pants in the afternoon tell the story.
The ‘Easy Monday’ song was “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” by The Rolling Stones. ‘Jazzy Wednesday’ should feel familiar. It’s a tune that began life in 1937 as a show tune and has been sung, adapted, and messed with ever since.
“I get too hungry for dinner at eight. I like the theater, but never come late. I never bother with people I hate. That’s why __ __ __ __ __.” Hint: It’s a spoof on high society.
This morning we went to Big C for our first ‘outing’ in two days. Fortunately, it still doesn’t get crowded there in the mornings. There is a new twist at the checkout stand though. The checkers take your money and give any change in a little basket. Initially, it looks like a way to not come in contact with the checker, but they put the money in the basket, then you take it out. Where’s the isolation in that? Just sayin’.
At lunch today, Natcha made fried chicken and French fries in the air frier and she nailed it. The fries were perfect and the secret was less oil. We couldn’t stop raving about the texture, etc. So now we know it can be done. Hmm, what else shall we put in that thing (555)? Reminds me of the many episodes of comedy shows that went nuts with deep friers when they came out.
Today’s photos are from yesterday's Nitchanan and JaiDee show. Lisa caught these action shots as they played in the living room.
Someplace in the distance there is live music playing. It might be the hotel on our side of the river. It’s not the typical monotony that comes from the fairgrounds, which means that every now and then it’s interesting. All we hear is bass and drum so it remains ‘mystery music’. That what I’m going to call this form when I hear it.
Feels like a Wacky Wednesday. That’s no reason not to wear your mask and keep your distance.
Peace,
Danny
