Dismiss

 Hi,

We had another wonderful weather day.  Less clothes means warmer temps.  The whole day required less, lighter weight clothing.  I’m still craving California weather (the summer kind).  We’re getting close to T-shirts and shorts all day.  Close, but not there.

Only two readers got this song on the first day.  Maybe today that number will change.  ‘Jazzy Wednesday’ is next:
“I don’t like crap games with barons and earls.  Won’t go to Harlem in ermine and pearls.  Don’t dish the dirt with the rest of the girls, that’s why __ __ __ __ __.  I like the free, fresh wind in my hair.  Life without care.  I’m broke, it’s oke.  Hate California, it’s cold and it’s damp.  That’s why __ __ __ __ __.”  Clue:  The singer likes the low key life, approaching the style of a hobo.  Everybody sings this song, or some variation of it.

Today we had our morning coffee at Chivit Thamma Da with our friend John.  We sat at a semi-sunny table overlooking the river.  We covered everything from politics to pets, which covers a lot of ground.  There were tales of growing up and our early days on the planet.  All in all, it was a very fun morning.

JaiDee’s feet haven’t been improving at a rate we’d like to see so we took him to the vet this afternoon.  He is apparently doing better than we thought, though he still has a compulsion to lick his feet.  Now he has meds to relieve the itching.  We’re hoping that a change in the yard spray will be the answer.  On the brighter side, he’s getting more interested in playing with balls.  He likes to catch balls as they bounce.  The soccer ball is more fun if it’s rolling across the lawn and he can attack it like a predator.  Such an animal.

Chiang Rai is all abuzz about the one case of covid that turned up earlier this week.  There are now two QR code systems available at the entrances to most larger businesses so one can be a part of contact tracing should it be necessary.  It's so much easier than writing down information in a book before entering.  We’re all acting as if there is another outbreak, which keeps things in check.

While wandering around the yard with the dogs, I noticed that Blue’s Tree has it’s first buds of the season.

Have a Thrilling Thursday.

                           Peace,
                                     Danny
