Truth

Hi,

Not a cloud in the sky, cold mornings, beautiful days. That's about it on the weather front. Today was filled with car-washing, shopping, sticking, and meeting. In between there was dog play.

Our 'Easy Monday' song was "Paint It Black" by The Rolling Stones. Day two brought lots of responses. Now it's time for 'Old Folk Crap'. Surely you remember this one from elementary school: "In a cavern, in a canyon, excavating for a mine lived a miner, forty-niner and his daughter, __." Clue: It's about a girl, lots of drama in this one.

This morning we started out for Big C to get party supplies and decided to get the car washed. After taking Daku to the vet's it usually pretty hairy inside. While the car was being washed we went into Doi Chaang for coffee. There we ran into my friend Eddy, who always has breakfast there. We also saw our friend Andrew, who manages A.U.A., the language school. Kevin from The Sold Project was with him and it ended up being a nice conversation stop. When we went to get the car it wasn't done so we walked up the street to the bakery to get bread. We visited with Jonathan the English Golden Retriever. Eventually we got back on the road to Big C.

After lunch, and a brief rest I had to go in for another acupuncture treatment. Oh joy.

We found out from Jaffee that the magazine article on Lisa will be four pages. It comes out this week. That was great news, but also meant that we had to set some prices for her art in case someone who read the article was interested. We met with Jaffee this afternoon, back at Doi Chaang and had a very productive session.

It's been a busy day, and evening. Lisa has been busy naming some of her works, and posting some of the newer work on her website. Drop by and check them out.

Tomorrow our guests arrive. There will be Karen Jo, Lisa's step sister, Sandy and her husband Kenwood. They will stay through Sunday. We have tons of activities planned, places to go, and things to do. On Sunday we're having a party so they can meet our friends.

Hang on for a Wacky Wednesday.

Peace,
Danny
