Teach

Hi,

I'm coming to you from downtown Chiang Mai. We're having a great trip and got all the important business taken care of.

The song we started the week with was "A Day in the Life" by The Beatles. It closed out the Sgt. Pepper LP.
"There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold, and she's buying a __ __ __." Hint: It's by another group from across the pond. No, it's not Spiral Staircase but there's an obvious clue here if you're even close. (Ha)

It started raining about the time we had planned on leaving Chiang Rai so we waited until it stopped. We only encountered a small patch of rain on our drive down. I drove carefully and didn't take the chances I watched many drivers take. The risks some drivers take is jaw-dropping. We just let them have the road. We stopped and ate at a big hot springs complex and took some pictures.

When we got to town we followed the map and we were doing pretty well until we missed a turn. I had a sense of where we needed to be so we drove through some tiny little streets until I saw a landmark looming above the trees. We finally got to the hotel and there was a sign in the lobby welcoming Lisa. Amazing Thailand.

Our friends Ten and Alan picked us up at our hotel and took us to the print shop where Lisa negotiated the planning for her art show catalog. Then we had an early dinner and returned to the hotel. It was a good day.

Now we're going down to the street where the Night Bazaar is going on. This is a lot different from Chiang Rai, but it's fun in small doses.

It's time for Wacky Wednesday.

Peace,
Danny
