Compromise

Hi,

Yesterday we had lunch with old friends, and our 'Little Family' returned from their vacation. A mellow day in Southern California.

It's nice when 'Easy Monday' works. Clearly it did this time since so many of you knew the song. Here's more:
"In and out my life, you come and you go, leaving just your picture behind and I kissed it a thousand times...__ __ __ __, I love you and nobody else." Hint: Sung by four guys from a motor-city label. They were on top of their game for quite a while.

Blue and Ming traveled to the coast yesterday for lunch. Coming from Rancho Cucamonga, it was a journey. We hadn't seen Ming since late last summer. We met at Emerald Thai, one our favorite spots to eat. Memories, life updates, and art business were some of the things on the table besides lunch. They will be going to Thailand in late August and spending some time with us in the north.

I had neglected to tell you that when we returned to Culver City this trip it was to an empty house. Jeff, Anna, C-Bass and August were on vacation in Seattle and Vancouver. We did have the company of their two dogs, Peaches and Lola, but that's not the same. Yesterday evening we picked them up at LAX and had a wonderful reunion. Both boys came out to our apartment and hung with us separately. We got accounts of their vacation and what they liked and didn't like. Kids just tell you what's on their minds. It's nice. We'll probably have another episode of 'The August Chronicles' tomorrow so stay tuned.

Have a Happy Tuesday.

Peace,
Danny
