Limits

Hi,

Today began as a slightly overcast day. That was just the beginning. Then the rains came. Before that we were out and about. It was a good day.

Many of you recognized the opening line of the song. Hopefully, the rest of you will get this from the blanks. (Ha)
"No burden is he to bear. We'll get there for I know he would not encumber me __ __ __, __ __ __." Hint: It's a symbolic song that recognizes that everyone is a sibling. Now how hard can this be?

Last night we tried keeping Daku up as long as he would play. It worked pretty well because he slept until 6am. That was a big change. Now the trick will be to get him to stay awake without all the attention and still sleep in. Only time will tell.

This morning we went over to Dr. Arnon's to see if BamBam still needed to take special vitamins, and to pick up another metal water bowl. They have this special bowl that mounts on the side of a cage and we got one and both dogs drink from it. This is important since Daku likes to 'Dance' in the bowl and splash the water out and then lie in it. Ugh. With the elevated bowl there's no spilled water. We got a second one for the upstairs so we don't have to supervise his drinking.

From the vet's we drove out to Big C. I should mention that this is the first day that Lisa has been 'out' in some time. After much research last night we settled on a camera and made our purchase at "Big Camera." The service was outstanding and we left with a Fuji Super Zoom that will do what we need. That is of course, after we read the manual. Oh, not that.

After our brief stop at The 'C' we went over to a print shop we knew about to try and get an idea of cost for the catalog for Lisa's art show. The last time we were there the man we thought was the boss spoke pretty good English. Today nobody spoke a word and communication was nowhere around. We finally left and Lisa made arrangements with Tye to go back tomorrow and translate. Whew.

Lunch time brought a deluge. We were actually pretty happy about it since lawn food had been spread yesterday and it needed to be watered. It was heavy at times but was gone in a couple of hours. Then the sun came back in time for Johan to drop by and turn on the pool chlorinator.

Lisa went to dinner with Sutheera and I ate at the house. It was different but OK. The dogs wanted to visit but Boot kept them out of my hair while I ate.

Like I said, it was a good day. Have yourself a Good Thursday too.

Peace,
Danny
