See

Hi,

We had another day that teased us with the possibility of rain. Incredible cloud formations came, and went, and came back again. We mostly stayed at the house. Hmm.

It really was 'Easy'. "By The Time I Get To Phoenix" by Glen Campbell. It was written by Jim Webb. You knew it.
"Lying in my bed I hear the clock tick, and think of you. Caught up in circles, confusion is nothing new. Flashback, warm nights almost left behind. Suitcases of memories __ __ Sometimes you picture me....." Clue: This song title is in three words. The two lines are part of the title. The artist just wanted to have fun, but now is concerned with what is represented by the clock. Hmm.

Today was kind of a slow one around here. Sleep was interrupted last night by various things. At one point, in the middle of the night, I was awakened by a Tokay, a big gecko that makes a sound like its name, loudly. It sounds like a voice saying 'too kay, too kay, too kay' with each one getting louder. We have several around the outside of the house. The one last night sounded like it was on the balcony. Maybe it was the stillness of the night, but it seemed closer than usual. The tiny geckos just chirp, which is much less alarming. Living in close proximity with nature is something I hadn't figured on when we moved here, but I like the way things turned out. I have learned that lizards have little territories that they like to patrol. Frogs sometimes find refuge in shoes, dogs will chase anything that moves.

We did have a little adventure this morning. Lisa has been looking for certain grade of paper for use in her collages. Today we continued our search, first at the big stationary store, and then at a computer printing shop. The magic paper that will do what she wants hasn't been found yet, but we haven't given up. It's very difficult to try and explain something that is hard enough to talk about in English. In the end, the description comes out 'strong paper', and that's about as far as it goes. We may have to go to the big city for this.

It's time for Wacky Wednesday.

Peace,
Danny
