Hi,
If you're a night-owl, then you're probably wondering why this message is coming to you so early. I'm sitting in the International Lounge at LAX, waiting for our flight to Taipei and then Bangkok. We leave at 1:55am, so that's why you're getting this so early. Otherwise it would be a day late, or something like that.
The 'Easy Monday' song was featured in a movie with a one word title. It's by four guys you're familiar with.
"If you don't treat her right, my friend, you're going to find her gone. 'Cause I will treat her right, and then you'll be the lonely one. __ __ __ __ __ (repeat). I'll make a point of taking her away from you, yeah. The way you treat her what else can I do?" Clue: I'd love to help you with this one, but you'd lose the experience of remembering such a fun song.
Our quick trip is over, and as we bid farewell to Southern California, I want to thank you for your hospitality. Thank you for the cold weather, the crowded freeway, the yummy Thai food, the news in English, the courteous drivers, the crows that woke us up, and most important, the continued friendships that always warm our hearts.
Our last evening was really great. We had dinner with Jeff, Anna, C-Bass and August. Then we hung out until it was time to go.
If you ever get over to Chiang Rai, we'll be there to show you around and make you feel at home.
