Light

Hi,

During the morning rain we kept trying to remember if we'd forgotten anything. Hmm, that will get you every time. A couple of outings and we've got everything we need for this adventure. Daku is sensing our departure and acting accordingly. Today he dropped a ball in the open suitcase when we weren't looking.

OK, 'Easy Monday' was "Don't Stand So Close To Me" by The Police. Now we travel to the 'Summer of Love' and this: "What's it all about, __? Is it just for the moment we live? What's it all about when you sort it out, __? Are we meant to take more than we give or are we meant to be kind?" Hint: The title is a person's name, from the movie of the same name, from blah, blah. This should be easy.

This time tomorrow we will be somewhere over the ocean, on our way to the U.S. There's some kind of built in thing that makes it hard to pack too early. We're past that point now and it's full speed ahead. Didn't sleep much last night, tossing and turning and thinking. Maybe it's just a set-up so we'll sleep on the plane. (Ha) Even though we've done this a bunch of times, it still feels a little weird thinking of packing for three weeks. We're looking forward to seeing friends and family. We even have a birthday party to attend. Excitement fills the air.

We went to Central Plaza this morning and one of our stops was the 'record store'. Yesterday I heard a song on the TV that I really liked. I asked my friend who it was and she said "Curry Baba". At least that's what I heard. I asked the woman in the store if she had such a group and she produced a double CD by "Calories Blah Blah". What language barrier?

Tomorrow I'll probably be writing to you from either Bangkok or Taipei. Either way, you'll hear from me from the 'road'.

Feels like a Wacky Wednesday.

Peace,
Danny
