Honor

Hi,

Today was sunshine and mostly blue skies, all day. Not a drop of the drip. We had massage therapy at home, and swam in the sun-warmed water.

The 'Easy Monday' song was easy for a bunch of you. Some of you were celebrating the holiday, but there's still time to get down to business. We've played with this one before. The title implies several movements joined together. "I've got an answer. I'm going to fly away. What have I got to lose? Will you come see me, Thursdays and Saturdays? What have you got to lose?" Hint: The first word of the title is also something that might be found in a hotel. Oh yes, there's also a woman's name mentioned.

We did something Saturday that completely slipped my mind. We went to the grand opening of the newly rebuilt Sinthanee Center. This is the place where we get all our major appliances. They had a big fire last year that gutted the place. In between rain showers we joined the festivities. It was like a circus, with contests, product models in glamorous outfits, all in a bigger showroom than before. Inside there was every kind of appliance, gadget, and entertainment system that you could imagine. They even had cars and motorbikes in there. We walked around checking things out and saw some of the people we've dealt with in the past. I'm sure that a lot of the staff was happy to have more than a temporary space. Outside there were customized motorbikes on display, and test rides were being given on a small course. We'll have to go back without the crowds and spend more time.

This morning Khun Ann returned to give Lisa another session of her special massage therapy. While that was happening I went out and ran errands. Atom came over near the end of Lisa's session and the four of us had lunch. Then it was my turn. Ann worked on me for a little over two hours and is the first person to work on my thumb in a gentle fashion and actually explain what was wrong. Of course, this was through translation, but it doesn't hurt and that's a good thing.

The water in the pool was back up to 85 degrees and felt wonderful after the relaxing massage. It was a great way to end the day.

Have a Happy Tuesday.

Peace,
Danny
