Inside

Hi,

I was going to tell you that we had a day without rain, but Lisa reminded me that I napped through an afternoon storm. The humidity is terrible, but what can you do? Today we visited the photo studio, and I did some filming around town. We also did a little house cleaning.

It looks like 'Old Folk Crap' has sparked a lot of childhood memories. This group was named for a city on an island. "This time tomorrow, reckon where I'll be. Hadn't a-been for Grayson, I'd be in Tennessee. Hang down your head __ __, hang down your head and cry..." Clue: It's a sad song that ends with a white oak tree. The three singers were all men, and had a ten year run with numerous hits.

This morning we took more of Lisa's artwork to be photographed. Chalit, the photographer, talked to us about the approach for our portraits.

The big event today was tackling the 'shed' as we call it. There is a room on the back side of the house that was originally intended to be a changing room for swimming, but it quickly turned into that place where you put stuff. You know the one. The place where the 'someday we'll do something with it', or 'I hate to throw that away', or 'we may need this one day' things all seem to gather. Lisa, Boot, and I methodically pulled things out and made piles on the deck. We found things, pondered others, and now have some actual floor space in the 'shed'. There are still boxes of 'stuff' but we now know what they are. It's a good feeling to let go of the things we weren't using.

Lisa and Daku had another frisbie session today and he's really improving. In fact, he's so into it that we have to hide the thing because if he sees it, he wants to play. Nothing like a dog with a mission. Hmm.

Have a Thorough Thursday.

Peace,
Danny
