Believe

Hi,

A week from today we will be flying across the water to Thailand. The 16 of July will disappear for us. Hmm. The mystery continues.

Easy Monday was a breeze. The song was "My Girl" by The Temptations. Here's a mid-week challenge for you:
"She keeps her Moet et Chandon in her pretty cabinet. 'Let them eat cake' she says just like Marie Antoinette..." Clue: This is by a group that came from across the water. Their name is in the title of the song. Hmm.

I just realized that sports have a season here and we just have football all year. Of course we don't really look for anything else, except for Formula One racing. It would be nice if we could watch World Cup Ski racing but I don't think there would be much interest in LOS. (Ha)

Yesterday was busy. Eastside, Westside, all around the town (to quote a song older than all of you). We went from the USC area to the Marina and then to Westwood. My this is a big place. You can tell that you've been away when you start to forget the order of streets in parts of town you thought you remembered.

Meanwhile, back in Thailand, work continues on the translations for the catalog for Lisa's art show. Of course the whole thing is complicated when you add more than 8,400 miles between us and the translator, not to mention words we can't read. It's actually going to be just fine, but the process does have it's moments.

Tomorrow we fly up to Palo Alto for a visit with Joe (Lisa's Dad) and lunch with the Oakland Cousins. On the way to the airport and the flight home we'll have coffee the the Athas family. It's a whirlwind day but worth it.

Time for Wacky Wednesday.

Peace,

Danny
