Roses

Hi,
Today we went to the vet, dined at the Night Bazaar, and wondered about pink eggs. BamBam and Daku have bonded and we saw double-green headlights. All this and more, in one day in Chiang Rai. Whew.
I can tell just how carefully you read the 'clues' and 'hints' by what you write in response to some of the tunes. I got many correct answers and a few who didn't read the words. "...Someday when we're dreaming, deep in love, not a lot to say, then we will remember __ __ __ __. " Hint: We just did a gig with this group over the weekend. Remember the word 'marathon'. This line is one of my favorites, but that won't help you.
This morning we went to see Dr. Arnon for Daku's first visit. He's been scratching like crazy and we had to find out why. Turns out it's similar to what Bam had only different. Medicine on the back of his neck every two weeks, a tiny pill down his throat and some liquid stuff and it should go away. Meanwhile, he and BamBam had a major time today and Bam got over all her apprehension. They are now fast friends and they even hung out at Boot's while Lisa gave Napa her ballet lesson. After her lesson, Napa dashed down to play with Daku. She also thinks he looks like a bear and thinks that should be his name. Only problem is, bear in Thai doesn't have a very commanding sound. It's like the word 'me' in English. Oh well, he's learning that his name is Daku and that's the main thing. BamBam is so taken with Daku that she wanted to come to our house with him after we got home. She always stays with Boot at night. Looks like we don't have to worry about the jealousy thing.
Tonight we went to town for dinner. After dinner we went to see Paladon, the artist Lisa invited to be in her show. There's a whole submission procedure to go through and we wanted to take some pictures of some of his work. On the way to the truck we stopped at Tops to pick up some basic grocery items. While checking the price of eggs, we noticed a dozen pink eggs. Who lays these things? (Ha) I forgot to ask Boot about them but I'll be sure to get back to you.
On the way home we saw these two green lights coming towards us. It was a motorbike that normally has twin headlights with the usual white light. I'd seen single lights of red and green but seeing two coming at you is pretty freaky. Don't try this in L.A. I also saw a tour bus with yellow and pink hazard lights on the rear. Yes, it's a colorful place alright. Seeing is believing.
It's time for Happy Tuesday.

Peace,
Danny

"One of the tragic things I know about human nature
is that all of us tend to put off living.
We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon,
instead of enjoying the roses
that are blooming outside our windows today."
