Power

Hi,

It would have been a beautiful day today had it not been for the dirty air.  So, from inside the car and the house it was a beautiful day (555).  Someday it will get better.

‘Easy Monday’ must not have made it to some of your ‘inboxes’.  “We take a walk, the sun is shining down.  Burns my feet as they touch the ground.  __ __ __, __ __ __, __ __ __.  Then we’d lie beneath the shady tree.  I love her and she’s lovin’ me.  She feels good, she knows she’s looking fine.  I’m so proud to know that she is mine.  __ __ __, __ __ __, __ __ __, __ __ __ (on and on in a round).”  Clue:  Has to do with that big ball in the sky, etc.

"Life with Chopper" will be the next book by Daku.  They have bonded in a special way.  When we open any door, Chopper seems to be there.  Since he never gets closed up in the pen, he just does what he wants.  In the morning, he’s there, first thing.  I don’t mind seeing little dude, but Daku gets jumped on, bitten and plowed into every time.  He handles it all with a cool attitude until Chopper goes too far.  Then he either walks away, barks, or moves in a way that says, ‘I’m still the biggest’.  Going back into the house can be tricky because he just follows us in.  This morning Daku picked up one of his toys and waved it in front of Chopper, trying to get him to bite it instead of him.  Until we’re sure that he’s housebroken, he only stays with supervision.  Yes, it may be a mini series as well (555).

Today we discovered that Tuesday morning at the mall is very quiet, at least during the hour after opening.  We arrived just in time to order lunch and eat at our usual time.  Natcha wasn’t feeling well and we had a few things to pick up anyway.  By the time we had finished shopping, the parking lot was almost full.  When we first arrived there were tons of empty spaces.  It had only been 2 hours.  Even though there were still spaces, some people chose to double park in order to be closer to the main underground entrance.  I keep wondering what it would be like in, say, California if the ‘custom’ of double parking were adopted.  The cars are locked, but left in neutral so they can be pushed out of the way.  It does take some patience and tolerance to deal with a car blocking your exit.  That’s where the security guys come in and help.  Just amazing that it happens without incident.

Lately, we haven’t seen a lot of Neechanon.  She comes into the house with Natcha and calls us for dinner, which is very cute.  She is talking a lot more and saying phrases that we understand.  She likes to sit at the table, with everyone in a chair.  She’s been studying the video clips on her phone and is getting very confident with songs and counting.  Sometimes she can be heard singing along.

Today’s photo shows Neechanon ‘studying’ in the kitchen.

Tomorrow we go to the DMV, get our ‘training’ and presumably our licenses.

Have a Happy Tuesday.

                          Peace,
                                    Danny
