Discovery

Hi,

Today the sky was blue with just a few white clouds. None of the dark, rain heavy monsters that have been dumping on us. We spent the morning in the street and the afternoon around the house. A real nice day.

That song that you weren't sure you remembered was "Our House" by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young from 1969.
"Baby, do you understand me now, sometimes I feel a little mad. But don't you know that no one alive can always be an angel, when things go wrong I seem to feel bad..." Hint: This came from across the pond during the invasion in the '60s. Think about it and tomorrow you may understand.

This morning we went over to the hospital for a bandage change on Lisa's toe. We hadn't noticed the little slip they gave us said 8:00am. When we got there mid morning, the place was packed. After a wait, she got taken care of by a very sweet nurse that set things up so we won't have to wait anymore.

Our next stop was the hair salon so Gope could wash Lisa's hair. No need to try and wrap a bag on the foot when you can have a shampoo/massage/style for $2.82 (including the tip). Amazing Thailand.

Like I said, the rest of the day was pretty laid back. Lisa did some work on her computer, I pondered contact lenses, and wondered why our internet connection was still the same. Oh, it came back, but nothing has changed. Tomorrow I go back to CAT. Watching the news this morning I discovered that yesterday was the 59th anniversary of the coronation of the King and there was much pomp and circumstance in Bangkok. No doubt many businesses were closed for the occasion.

We had a visit late in the afternoon from Johan, his girlfriend Noy, and his son Ronald, who is visiting from Holland. We did some pool things and had a nice time hanging out. We made plans to go to dinner this weekend. BamBam is madly in love with Johan.

Now it's Wacky Wednesday.

Peace,
Danny
