Value

Hi,

The weather in Chiang Rai was very warm.  It was also humid, a little bit (which is how you might hear it said here).

The ‘Easy Monday’ song was “School Boy Crush” by Average White Band.  You shoulda known.  Now we move to what has been the ‘stumping’ day of the week: ‘Jazzy Wednesday’.  “Somewhere there’s music, how faint the tune.  Somewhere there’s heaven __ __ __ __.  There is no moon above, love is far away too, ’til it comes true that you love me as I love you.”  Hint:  The title is actually a question about a planet, but not really scientific.  More of a romantic question.  Many singers have played with this standard.

This morning we went to Work@Home so JaiDee could visit with Towan and Katai, his favorite aunt and uncle (555). As usual, it was another grand reunion.  You’d think he hadn’t seen them in years.  We had some fun adult conversations while JaiDee got constant attention from ‘his people’.

In the afternoon we went to immigration and renewed our visas for another year.  It’s always a big relief when it’s done.  In the past, there was always something that had been changed, or required additional copies.  This time we had it all.  Lisa put together a brilliant package based on our previous renewal.  It’s so nice to leave there with a smile on our faces.

Tomorrow morning Lisa is going on a photo shoot.  Our friend and gallery owner Khun Nine has a friend who is a photographer.  He’s doing the shoot at Wat Rong Khun (aka The White Temple) and wanted two women in traditional Thai outfits.  He ask Nine to find a young woman and a mature woman and she called Lisa.  A friend of Natcha’s is coming over in the morning to help with make-up, hair and costume.  The adventure never ends.

Today’s photo is JaiDee and Nitchanan in a calm moment.  Things are really cool between them.

It feels like a Wacky Wednesday.

                              Peace,
                                        Danny
