Nobody

Hi,

The weather finally went and did it.  Last night and this morning we had the ‘Storm of the Century’, again.  This one brought the first real yard flood this year.  Everything eventually drained, with some help from Gong, and things are looking normal again.

The ‘Jazzy Wednesday’ tune has one follower so far.  Here’s more to digest:  “I teach a course in ruination from the Devil’s text, to fools who can’t withstand temptation, step right up you’re next.  I hail from a hollow hell hole down along the river Styx.  Allow me to introduce myself, the name is __ __.”  Clue:  Clearly a scoundrel, the guy is pure evil, out for a good time.  It came out in 1962, in case you’re keeping score.

We spent another day at the homestead.  The rain slowed enough that we could still hang out with the dogs.  Later in the morning, I went to a meeting, via Zoom, in California.  Lisa did some work with the dogs, mainly trying to get TongDee used to walking on a leash.  There must have been a bad experience in her past, because when one is attached, she just stands very still.  She has to be bribed with treats to move forward.  Progress is slowly being made so we press on.

Today’s photo is another from the adventures of Nitchanan and JaiDee.

This evening Cat and Noom joined us on the walk.  Noom and JaiDee took off jogging and we didn’t see them for a whole lap of the track.  They apparently had a good time.  On the second time around they ran when they encountered ‘The Beagle’ (our nemesis) and walked the rest of the way.  When we got home JaiDee drank some water and went to sleep.

Have a Thrilling Thursday.

                            Peace,
                                      Danny
