Young

Hi,

Almost Happy New Year.  I'm still not used to writing a message on Sunday night.  Oh, it's still cold here in Culver City and that may be part of the problem.  I realized I hadn't written to you, but it was 5:30am, dark and cold.  There was no way I was getting up to do this.  (555)
Nobody wrote me with the song title for 'Old School Friday'.  It was "I'm A Roadrunner (Road Runner)" by Junior Walker & The Allstars.  You should have known.  To close out the old year, this 'Easy Monday' song one you're sure to know:  "Diamond life, lover boy.  He moves in space with minimum waste and maximum joy.  City lights, and business nights, when you require streetcar desire for higher heights... No need to ask, he's a __ __, __ __, __ __."
Clue: I may be rough on you if you don't get this one.  So easy.  Title in 2 words, artist in 1.

We had a wonderfully busy weekend.  We dined with friends, Dim Sum'd with The Family, visited and dined with cousins in Hidden Valley (Martha, Tanya, Emmaline, Sophia), and wore many layers of clothes the whole time.

Meanwhile, back in Thailand, a taxi driver found 3 million Baht on the street and returned it to bank truck drivers.  That's about $98,000 US.  What a guy.  Oh, on TV they just showed the fireworks celebration over Bangkok at midnight and it was awesome.

Today (Monday) we'll have lunch with Bruce and Danielle, who are planning a visit to Thailand and will stay with us.  Tonight we will hang out with C-Bass and August to bring in the New Year.

Stay warm, be kind, and try to avoid being out on the street at midnight.

Have a Great Week and a Happy New Year,

               Peace,
                          Danny
