Behavior

Hi,

It was another postcard day in Chiang Rai.  We had a mellow day with one trip to town, one visitor, and some dog training.  Lists are being completed in our prep for the Winter Visit to the U.S.A.

This weeks 'Easy Monday' song was "Purple Rain" by Prince.  It's time for some seasonal 'Zany Day' stuff.
"__ __, just slip a sable under the tree, for me.  Been an awful good girl, __ __, so hurry down the chimney tonight."
Hint:  I know you know this one.  Zany but so easy.

This morning I had a massage and realized that I was doing pretty good, physically.  Only one place was painful and since I didn't make a big deal about it, I didn't get tortured.  Whew, I was not in the mood.  I left feeling relaxed and peaceful.  Just the mood one needs when taking technical devices to the shop for service.  We had a printer and a laptop that needed help from TechnoCom.  They fixed the printer while we were there and think the laptop will be done before we leave town.  Boot sends us email when we're in America so we wanted it working.  The young people who work for this outfit are all very courteous and efficient.

This afternoon our friend Tai came over for a visit.  We haven't seen her in a long time so it was good for everyone.  We have had many adventures with her so there are strong memories.  She and Lisa had a nice long visit and I dropped in for a while.

After Tai left it was time to do some training with Mr. Daku.  Since the incident last week when he went out on his own, we have been working on getting him to have more respect for the open gate.  In other words, don't go out there.  Today was our second time working with him and he seems to be responding to our method.  It's kind but gets the point across.  Plus, he gets to eat extra yummy treats.

One of our friends posted a photo that I couldn't resist passing along to you.  It comes from Mae Sai, which is the border town with Burma, an hour north of us.  It would appear that there was one box too many on the back of this vehicle.

                                       Oooops!

Tomorrow we have to go to the Department of Land Transportation and renew our Thai driver licenses.  The first one was good for one year, and this one will be good for five.  We have no idea what we will have to do once we get there.  Hmm, the adventure continues.

It's time for a Wacky Wednesday.

                     Peace,
                                Danny
