Causes

 Hi,

It looks like winter has given us a brief reprieve until the weekend.  After hearing from a couple of readers, I once again must concede to the winters in other parts.  We don’t really have it cold here at all (he tells himself).  I got a note from my friend Lee, in Florida, telling me the low was 36° yesterday.  Julie wrote that it was 21° in Idaho and wouldn’t get to 59° for a couple of months.  So you see, I don’t know cold (555), I just know when it’s time to put on a jacket.

The ‘Easy Monday’ song was “Surfer Girl” by The Beach Boys.  Now it’s time to dip into ‘Jazzy Wednesday’ and a tune that I loved the first time around.  “(intro) Goodbye, no use leading with our chins, this is where our story ends, never lovers, ever friends.  Goodbye, let our hearts call it a day, but before you walk away, I sincerely want to say…(verse)  I wish you bluebirds in the spring to give your heart a song to sing.  And then a kiss but more than this
__ __ __ __.”  Hint:  The most widely played version of this tune was recorded by a female vocalist.  It’s a very noble farewell.

Today was an ‘inside’ day.  We didn’t leave until it was time to go for our walk.  There was plenty of activity though.  Each of the dogs has a foot that needs to stay dry and needs to be left alone.  Try explaining that to them.  In the morning, the lawn is wet from the night before so there’s no escaping the need to dry them off and re-wrap with plastic and then a little baby sock.  They’re both getting better about being attended to, but it takes ‘treats’ for both dogs.  JaiDee has something happening with his face that causes him to want to scratch it.  He can be calm  and serene and then frantic to rub his face on anything that will scratch the itch.  He’s going to the doc tomorrow.

The news watch continues as reports change and vary about the women who entered the country illegally and are carrying the virus.  The places in the Chiang Rai area that they visited are not on our list of places we go, but we’re keeping up our same habits.  The question on many people’s minds is:  What were they thinking?

Your photo for today was taken yesterday at Baan Jaokor Kluay.  These are the little tents that you can hang out in and sip your beverage while enjoying the gardens.

It feels like a Wacky Wednesday.

                             Peace,
                                       Danny
