Harmony

Hi,

Chiang Rai went all day without any rain.  This evening, at 6:30pm, the entire sky was dark blue (the sun was setting).  The water in the pool this afternoon was perfect.

The ‘Easy Monday’ tune was “Walk On By” by Dionne Warwick.  Time for another ‘Zany Day’ song.  Here’s one from the same year as the last one, 1964:  “Put on your red dress, baby, ‘cause we’re goin’ out tonight.  Put on your red dress, baby, ‘cause we’re goin’ out tonight.  Better wear some boxin’ gloves, case some fool might wanna fight…”  Hint:  The title is three words on the topic of footwear.

On our way to the immigration office we stopped for coffee at The Wanderer.  We were greeted by Mercy, who ‘talked’ to us and wanted to play.  One of the staff gave her a command in Thai and she stopped what she was doing and trotted off towards the kitchens.  We had just finished our coffee when Khun Noot came out with warm samples of another bread project.  This batch was delicious.  It was whole wheat with various seeds, and a dash of honey.  I could munch on that for a snack.

Our third visit to immigration resulted in them issuing us new retirement visas for another year.  It only took three visits to get everything straight.  It will forever remain a mystery as to what is the right and true procedure.  Every time it’s different.  For 10 years, we have surrendered to the system, whatever it is.

Since Natcha and Gong have started their little side business, we don’t see Neechanon much anymore.  She goes to her aunt Gope’s house.  Maybe we’ll have to arrange for Gope to bring Neechanon over for a visit.

Today’s photo was taken in our kitchen.  I don’t know the name of this fruit, but it was given to us by Khun Noot.  It’s a kind of lemon, at least the outer skin is.  She said that you can peel a bit off and put use it for seasoning.  Hmm, need to find out more about this.

Tomorrow we are scheduled to have another Cross Fit workout.  Knowing that I can abbreviate as needed, I’m looking forward to some stretching and flexing.  Wow, can’t believe I just said that.  (555)

Looks like a Wacky Wednesday.

                   Peace,
                             Danny
