Tolerance

Hi,

After days of rain predictions, it finally happened today.  Late afternoon we got water from the sky.  It was still stifling hot even with the rain.  More is supposed to be on the way.

The ‘Easy Monday’ song was “Handy Man”, originally by Jimmy Jones and successfully covered by James Taylor.  Here’s a ‘Zany Day’ tune you might remember:  “__ __ __ __ __ __ __, protected by a silver spoon.  But now she sucks her thumb and wanders, by the banks of her own lagoon.  Didn’t anybody tell her?  Didn’t anybody see?  Sunday’s on the phone to Monday.  Tuesday’s on the phone to me.”  Clue:  It’s about a dramatic entrance.

This morning’s coffee adventure took place at ’The Dark’.  That's the big black building that was a featured photo  recently.  The first floor is a well stocked stationary store and the second floor is a coffee shop and restaurant.  We sat in big, high-back leather chairs as we gazed around the black interior.  There are lots of windows so it’s not as dark as it could be.  The coffee was strong and I’m sure that’s fine with the students who frequent the place.  They serve lots of desserts and also have a food menu.  We may go back for further ‘study’.

Today’s photos are from yesterday’s bone encounter between Neetchanon and Daku.  The first photo is titled ‘The Chase’.  Note the expression on Neetchanon’s face.  The second I call ‘Polite’ since Daku is being very tolerant and polite, so close to his bone.

In local news, we learned a new term today.  There was a big bust of a ‘Click Farm’.  This is what they’re calling a set-up with over 400 phones and about 3,000 phone numbers all being used to boost business presence on a Chinese site called WeChat by texting.  The phones automatically post comments on the social media site in an effort to promote products.  Hmm.

Tomorrow we will drive out to the country to the frame ‘factory’.  It’s been awhile since we went into the countryside north of town.  Lisa is preparing for the Art Bridge Women’s Exhibit “In Her Eyes”, that will feature 26 women artists from the collective.

Feels like a Wacky Wednesday.

                Peace,
                          Danny
