Help

Hi,

The weather in Chiang Rai was beautiful today.  It began by looking like rain, but slowly evolved into blueish sky with mild temps.

The ‘Zany Day’ song has been looping in several minds today.  The song is from 1972 so it’s not really that old (5).
“My brother, sat me right down and he talked to me.  He told me that I ought not let you just walk on me.  And I’m sure he meant well, yeah, but when our talk was through.  I said, ‘Brother, if you only knew, you’d wish that you were in my shoes.’  You just keep on __ __, until you __ __ up.  Until you __ __ up.”  Clue:  It’s a ‘Zany Day’ song for a reason.  The word exploit comes to mind, but it doesn’t sing well.

This morning we took JaiDee to Chivit to see his human friends.  He had a ball, lots of petting from the dog people.
He got a big helping of ice and we had iced coffee and a scone.  I never liked scones until I started taking my milk digestive pills and eating scones with preserves.  One of the servers told us that she has 3 dogs.  Two of them are large Thai dogs and a small poodle.  Near the end of our visit she mentioned that they were all hoping the weather would stay nice for tomorrow night, and the Jazz Festival.  So are we.

After taking JaiDee home, we went to HomePro for some storage containers.  They have a cool collection of counter-top devices for organizing all the stuff that seems to find it’s way to the open surfaces in the kitchen.  We also investigated their ceiling fans.  There are times when the outside air is very mild but still, and a fan would circulate the air.  As we were leaving we passed the TV department.  The ultra-large 4K HD screens are mind-blowing.  We’d be able to see everything, including tennis balls, from across the room.  The room we’d never leave (555).

This afternoon, before dinner, Nitchanan came over and hung out with us.  Actually, she and her phone hung out.  We didn’t have any conversations, she just wanted to be here with us.

When we turned the corner for our evening walk at the government building, we got a big surprise.  The city had turned on the decorative lights for Loy Krathong.  This year they are the best yet.  Lots of color and interesting designs.  Today’s photo is one example.

Have a Thrilling Thursday.

                      Peace,
                                Danny
