Awakening

Hi,
It was a busy morning around here today. The pool guys were back for their regular day and while they were doing things out back, a new bug guy was answering questions at the dining room table. I kept having to go back and forth to make sure certain things were right with the pool. New bug guy will be back next week to start the process of dealing with the ants. There are about four different kinds and he thinks they come from the corn fields. Hmm.
I'm proud of all the memories out there who remembered "We Got The Beat" by The Go-Go's. Same decade gave us this:
"I've been running hot, you got me ticking gonna blow my top. If you __ __ __ If you __ __ __ I'll never stop, never stop,
never stop..." Clues: Band from across the water, some wonder how they still do it. Something your car might say when you get in...
Just when we thought BamBam was all better, we took her to the vet for a final check and Lisa noticed her nose was warm. She also noticed some redness where there shouldn't be redness. The doctor said we should watch her closely, and leave her out of the cage. The problem is she's supposed to remain calm but she's a ball of energy about to burst. We left the cage with the vet and it's like Bam knows she can't be confined. She's pacing, going for the door, trying real hard to bust out.
We had a light rain late this afternoon, but nothing major. There is a forecast for rain tomorrow and Friday, but who knows who to believe. We'll just watch the sky and be ready.
Had a good swim today. There's a level of exercise that leaves you knowing. It was like that. The laps are getting easier and as long as I can brave the water, I'll swim. I toyed with the idea of a thin wet-suit, but I was just kidding. Then again, I have no idea how cold the water will be when winter really kicks in. 'Kicks in' is another one of those phrases that makes one wonder.
It's time for a Wacky Wednesday.

Peace,
Danny

on a long and frustrating journey to fill our emptiness.
But it is not fixing that we require; it is awakening."
