Friday Funnies

Hi,
Well, I guess that's why they call this the rainy season. It's been raining all day. Actually, it started last night and continued throughout the day. Mostly light, but rain never the less. It didn't stop us from running errands and it didn't stop a major parade this afternoon. It's a thing call adaptation. Whereever humans commit to living, they adapt to the demands of the climate.
That's a great lead for the weekend song. But first, let's clear up the last one. It was "Evolution" and it was by Motorhead. I'll bet you've never heard many of their tunes. I guess it's time to broaden the palette. Thank Christopher for the awakening.
"End of the spring and here she comes back Hi, hi, hi, hi, there Them summer days, those summer days That's when I had most of my fun, back Hi, hi, hi, hi, there, them summer days, those summer days..." Clue: I thought I'd be sly and slip in a summer song. Have fun with it.
A few days ago we took one of Lisa's small paintings over to a frame shop she discovered. Today we got it back and met the owner. He did a wonderful job matting and framing the piece for less than $8. We'll be taking more things to him when we return. The frame guy is also interested in artists who do original work. So many artists are caught up in photo-realism here that he encourages the young artists that try to do original work. He showed us two pieces he bought from a young man we've made friends with at the Night Bazaar. Our little world is certainly coming together nicely.
Little Ms Bam-Bam is moving into the wild days of puppyhood. She used to stay in one part of the yard, near Boot's door. Now she's the great explorer, venturing out to the far corners of the grassy plains in search of...rocks. Her latest thing is rocks. She finds them and bites them and then brings them back to home base. Little ones, big ones, any ones. She likes to go out behind the waterfall, probably because there are some loose stones she can play with. She's also going into little puppy flip-outs where she kinda loses control and has to be reeled in. Hmm, sounds like a teen to me. There are the 'isn't she the sweetest thing' moments to counter the crazies.
The next time you hear from me will be from the airport in Taipei. Have a Hot, Happy WeekEnd.

Peace,
Danny
