Comeback

 Hi,

The sky was hazier today than yesterday.  The hill to the west is getting more ‘vague’ every day.  I guess by the weekend it will have disappeared.  There is also a forecast for possible rain later this week, so there is hope.

This week’s ‘Easy Monday’ song was “Sunny” by Bobby Hebb.  It’s time for another dose of ‘Jazzy Wednesday’.
“Ev’ry honeybee fills with jealousy when they see you out with me.  I don’t blame them, goodness knows, __ __.  When you’re passin’ by, flowers drop and sigh and I know the reason why.  You’re much sweeter goodness knows, __ __.”  Hint:  The title could be a name, or a flower, or a person.  The music was written (1929) by a prolific ‘stride’ style piano player and the lyrics are by a collaborator on several hits.

Our morning adventure was an early trip to Bangkok Hospital for Lisa to have blood tests.  Everything is great and her doctors are very happy.  There were specific things that improved and that’s cause for big smiles.  She had to fast overnight, which meant she was very hungry when we left the hospital.  We ended up coming home and relaxing before lunch.

While we were gone, Natcha took the dogs out for their morning exercise and ended up doing a photo shoot.  I’ll be posting photos of dogs for a while.  Here’s JaiDee shaking a paw.

This afternoon, after our nap, we went to ArtBridge to pick up Lisa’s artwork from the last exhibit, and leave a piece for the next exhibit.  We took JaiDee along with us for the ride.  On the way home we stopped at Browney Pet World for treats and vitamins.  JaiDee was on his best behavior and had fun sniffing the lower shelves of treats.

I spoke with a friend of mine in Chiang Mai and he said the air there is getting bad.  In past years, he would fly down to Hua Hin, a beach town we went to a few years ago.  This year it’s hard to ‘escape’ because of the virus.  It’s going to be a different kind of lock-down for some folks.  We will do what we did last year.  Masks and air filters and staying inside.  Not so fun, but it works.

Feels like a Wacky Wednesday.    Don’t forget to wear your mask, even if you got the shot.  Patience wins.

                              Peace,
                                        Danny

I’ve been.”
