Life

Hi,

Well, the best laid plans, blah, blah, blah.  Our long flight from L.A. to Taipei didn’t begin for a long time.  The airport was jammed up with planes and we had to wait.  By the time we got to Taipei, there was no time to go to the lounge and write my daily message.  Now we’re in Bangkok with a little breathing room, so I’m writing this brief message.

The ‘Zany Day’ song had a couple of correct ‘bites’.  Here’s more of the story:  “The __ eye’s began to wink and blink (great big __ __ __ __ __), he said, ‘Hold on, give me time to think (great big __ __ __ __ __).  The lightning flashed and the __ did speak (great big __ __ __ __ __).  He said, 'you big foot May, she’s down at Catfish Creek, rockin’ ’n’ a-rolling…..”  Hint:  Very superstitious; could this be magic?

The first thing we wanted to do after the 18+ hours in the air was get a massage.  Our long-time friendly massage spot was gone.  We were told there was another one in the basement we searched and found it.  An hour later we were better.

At the check-in counter for Bangkok Airways, we saw our friend Pete, who was also returning to Chiang Rai after he and his family got visas for a trip to Switzerland in the spring.

Today’s photo was taken at a new place for us in the Marina called Wahoo’s.  This skateboard art of Jimi Hendrix knocked me out.

So it’s about 12:30am in America, on Friday.  There will be a special edition coming later, with the ‘Funnies’ and the weekend song.

Have a Thrilling Thursday on Friday.

                Peace,
                          Danny
